There are many public funding schemes and it is very difficult for an organization to navigate this "jungle". Horizon 2020 alone issues over 100 calls per year and other less known frameworks such as IMI, AAL, LIFE also issue their own calls every year. Each call has its own rules and guidelines. We provide you with an overview of the funding instruments and calls available to you, in relation with your current technical and market objectives. We design a funding strategy, combining various instruments during your innovation cycle. We can also identify potential consortium partners for your collaborative proposals. This service is provided free of charge.
We develop your funding proposals
EC calls for proposal have become extremely competitive under Horizon 2020. Proposals are evaluated by third-party independent experts on a scale of 15 points and a mark between 14 and 15 is now often needed to obtain financing. On average, around 10% of the proposals are financed, but this rate drops below 3% for highly competitive calls such as the SME instrument. We lead the proposal creation, writing and review process, based on our experience (we submit over 100 proposals per year) and track record (~€460M of funding won since 2014 in Horizon 2020). A typical proposal requires 3-6 months of development. This service is provided on a no-win-no-pay basis.
We help you improve your proposals
Under Horizon 2020 two-stage collaborative calls, successful stage 1 proposers do not receive an Evaluation Summary Report before they have to submit their stage 2 applications and it is therefore very difficult for you to know where to improve your application. We analyse your stage 1 proposal in details with experienced EC experts, and provide you with a full Evaluation Summary Report (including detailed comments) as applicants receive in a single stage call. This allows you to know where to focus your efforts at stage 2. This service is charged 375 Euros and reserved for successful stage 1 collaborative proposals (it does not apply to the SME instrument phase 1).
